Jack here. Hope you guys are all doing well! It's been a little slow here honestly, I think we're all taking some much needed rest! From the website that is, only because we've been so busy out on the field. It's been a whole thing. I'm sure if you've been keeping up with the news you would've seen all the Farkletwarp protests going on right now. Politics aside we've had to step in to ensure everyone's safe. I was adviced to remain neutral but was given grace when I retorted that we're the Planet Protectors and what Farkletwarp is doing is the opposite of our mission... ANYWAY! That being said, we still have some updates for you. Let's hop on in!

The case has been cracked further! Dukey has provided us with the scoop on two regular visitors to the Bark 'N' Bite social club. Meet Fantage and Raf Rolett! Fantage is a hairstylist and Raf is a talent scout. You can find out more about them over on the Project Subwoofer page. I was waiting for Dukey to respond to me before publishing this blog post as I was keen to know what these two are up to now but he hasn't got back to me. Hopefully they're doing good. Dukey did tell me nobody's died, so that's a relief?

Melissa has made a new game to play! The goal is simple. Connect the silver pipes with the blue pipes so that they make a path. You'll get 1 coin and 50xp towards a card for every time you do it. Good luck and get to work!

The weather is doing its thing. I had a sandwich for lunch. I watched The Unreal Cabinhusbands of Tropoi earlier. It was not something that I enjoyed.

I hope you feel closer to me now. With that out of the way, we can begin the blog post.

🧩New Game - Slide Puzzle!🧩

We've added a brand new game for you. It's a simple slide puzzle, all you need to do is slide the tiles around until the picture is assembled. You'll get a coin and 50XP for every puzzle you complete. This game uses the same images as the jigsaw puzzle and to celebrate, we've added nine more images meaning there's now forty different potential puzzles per game.

In addition, Sir Barkington is having a promotion in his store - use the code GETSHOPPING and you'll get ten free coins that you can use there.

👤New page - Users!👤

If you check the quick navigation on the home page, you'll notice that there's now a Users page. This will allow you to see the profiles of everyone who's signed up for the website - We've noticed that not a lot of people have customised their profiles which is our fault, the settings page was rather hidden. You can now access it through the profile page. We've also added links to the users and dress up pages there too.

We've also added the ability to see every character on a user's profile page, not just their favourited one. You can scroll through using the buttons at the bottom right corner. Don't worry though, whatever character you have favourited will still be the first character that shows up on your profile for everyone to see.

❓Quiz Update❓

We've made some changes to the quiz. The most important change is that it has now moved into the Games page. Don't worry, it not only continues to reward the same amount of progress towards cards but also now rewards you with three coins upon completing the quiz (answering all 30 questions).

⚙Patch Notes⚙

1. Internally, we've added the ability for cards and coins to be rewarded through the Redeem page. The team will no doubt shower you in codes for these through future blog posts.
2. We've made several tweaks to themes to improve them. The most notable change is for any themes that use the standard background - they now tile correctly. I no longer need glasses.
3. The screenshot feature has been tweaked to dynamically scale depending on the character screenshotted. The cooldown between screenshots has been drastically reduced, allowing you to get on with your life.
4. Fixed an issue where the background you have saved on your dress up game was not visible to other players. A fashion disaster averted.
5. Fixed the game containers on the Games page so that they are all consistent. Containers should know when they're out of line.
6. Many quality of life updates have been made to character pages. The pages no longer jump around or reload whenever you're viewing new images and as a result I no longer need to smash my keyboard in frustration.
7. Fixed an issue where Zub's Grub was not rewarding the intended progress towards cards. I thought I felt hungrier than usual.
8. Fixed an issue where the Planet Protectors game continued to play after the boss defeat. You stay dead, Sabre.

Rufus here with quite the update! This time around we've got a new major page for the website, a brand new game and an update on the stories section so let's get right into it!

💰NEW FEATURE - STORE💰

Yep, we now have a store that you can buy dress up items from! Don't worry, we aren't asking you for your hard earned cash, you can earn our new Coin currency by playing games! This is all thanks to Sir Barkington who reached out to us after Skye's coverage in the earlier blog posts. He's decided to set up shop with us! We can't thank him enough for his help in getting everything ready. He told us he had a speech to celebrate but I think he forgot to send it along... 

There's three types of stock at Sir Barkington's store:

Exclusive Wares

The most expensive of the stock and for a good reason; you'll only be able to get them here! We've launched a new line of clothing based on the Snake game for this category for now but you can expect more clothing to drop here in the future. 

Standard Wares 

This has every single non exclusive item available! A good alternative if you don't wish to deal with the randomness of the Cards system. When you buy something the stock will refresh and show something new! 

Discount Wares 

Sir Barkington is having a clearout at prices that can't be beat! The stock is the same as Standard Wares (every non exclusive item) however there's a limited amount of stock each day so you'll have to come back to see what he's offering often! 

Oh, and for those of you that are all caught up with clothing and have an excess amount of cards... You can trade three cards for one coin over on the Cards page! 

This is the last major update we have planned for the website right now - Future updates will simply be expanding upon the established pages (new dress up clothes and characters, new games etc) but you never know... We're always tinkering over here and maybe we'll think of more new stuff to cook up!

Another new game has been added, this time featuring Skitter! Do you have what it takes to help them traverse the longest tree ever? Just look out for any bugs in the way... There's cards and coins in it for you if you try! 

🐦HARD TIMES UPDATE🐦

Here's the final illustration for Hard Times, wrapping up the series as a whole! We've also went back and tweaked some of the other illustrations. 

With Hard Times wrapped up we will now be returning to Red Alert to rewrite it and bring it up to the quality of Hard Times. We don't intend on making any illustrations for it or Experiments at least not any time soon as the illustrations for Hard Times really upped the amount of time it took to get everything ready. Maybe in the future though!

As mentioned above we're going to start working on the rewrite for Red Alert soon! We also have another new dress up character that we're planning to debut soon. Hope you enjoyed Kaiya's story a couple days ago... Were you expecting another update so soon? We've been working overtime! Let's get right into it, because we actually have another update going out for Valentines day that we're working on right now!

❔GARY DRESS UP - NOW LIVE!❔

That's right, to celebrate the completion of Hard Times, Gary is joining the frey (again)! He is launching with 46 different pieces of clothing. We've given everyone his standard outfit to start, with the rest being unlockable through the Cards system, so you know what that means... Time to play some games over on the Games page to get some cards!

You'll notice that this time round there's no simple colour variants... As the ablity to change the colour of clothing yourself now exists we didn't see the point! We've tried to give you neutral whites and also colourful versions of each item so that you can play around with hue and saturation too. The clothing is also quite neutral for now but don't worry, Gary will get a bunch of unique outfits just like everybody else over time! The plan as previously mentioned is to launch a bunch of different games in this same way so that updates can be more varied and include clothing for various games. That way you can set your favourite character on your profile earlier than it would be if we solely worked on one or two characters at once!

📦GAMES UPDATE:📦

A bunch of new jigsaw puzzles have been added, with more on the way. Stay tuned! 

We've also added a new game - Blockbreaker! It's self explanatory and I'm sure you've played it before but I hope it spices up your card collecting system! 

We've got more little arcade games like this in the works, but that's for another day...

Kaiya here... I've been given the opportunity to write all about a little visit to Tropoi that Cindy, Skye and I embarked on. It was really fun! We had to protect some very expensive precious jewellery... Before I get started though there's some exciting dress up game updates that I've also been given the opportunity to share! 

🐺DRESS UPDATE🐺

1. First things first, we've made some changes to your inventory so that it's a lot neater and tidier! 
2. Added a scroll bar for clothing categories that need it. This'll make it easier to dress up your character now! No more scrolling down the page and leaving your character behind. 
3. Managed the thumbnail images for clothing so that they're all a consistent size and will continue to be so as more clothing is added.
4. Second... Cindy's dress up game is officially completed! For now... There's her Halloween costume but it didn't feel right to release it just yet... As this is a story post we'll save you the specifics and let you discover the new items on their own. Enjoy!

Of course with Cindy's game now being complete... That can only mean one thing... More characters are on the way! As of writing there's three people in the photo booth preparing. You'll see a few changes with future additions. For example, expect to see way less variants of clothing! With the newly added palette feature there's not really any need for them now... But we'll try to give greyscale and regular variants at the very least so that you can play around with them. We also want to release more characters and as such you can expect launches to be quite minimal in clothing... This is so that when we make new clothing updates multiple characters can be included! It's nice to have variety. 

Oh! we've also added 5 new backgrounds for you to switch between!

With that out of the way... We can now start our story!

❄️TROPOI TRIP❄️

So... Have you heard about the jewellery store Glacio? They've been in the press recently as they're selling a coveted diamond necklace for an absurd price. It's all gotten rather hysterical... There's been multiple attempted break-ins to the store! They've got state of the art security patrolling the mall at all times, but that wasn't enough for Cindy and Skye... 

Skye came bursting into the tea room about a week ago with a letter in hand. It had a photo of the necklace on surrounded by darkness with "It's to die for..." written above in an eerie cursive font. The crew didn't think all that much of it but Cindy was fully convinced that it was a threat and they headed for their snow gear and got ready to set off... Not before asking me to tag along too! I wasn't sure at all to be honest... Other than my incident with Leon, I haven't really been on the field... The duo promised to keep me safe though and Scott assured me that there wasn't going to be any danger. They said we could do some shopping after and that I would be a good companion as I am an arctic fox... I agreed to go with them as I'd never been to the mall before and figured it was about time to get some fresh air. 

Here we are! Isn't Tropoi wonderful? Most people tend to think otherwise as the snow is rather unbareable apparently, but I really like it. It's my element. I may not have grown up here, but my fur's definitely suited for it. You can see the statue of Cecila in the background! She was a social pariah from many moons ago and helped so many people through their struggles. The statue is entirely made out of ice and has been standing for decades! The snow never stops in Tropoi. 

Can you spot Cindy and Skye in the back? They were trying to figure out the directions to Glacio but Skye couldn't hear Cindy under all those layers, hehe! After some shouting back and forth we were all able to get inside and unlayer a little. The mall was so sprawling and overwhelming... Very much not my cup of tea honestly. I expressed how out of my depth I was and they reassured me that this place wasn't much of their style either... Cindy said she's not that interested in the finer things in life and just likes to please her parents whilst Skye encouraged us to play the part to get what we needed. Should I be telling you this? Um... I'll let them cut this out if they need to. Anyway... We followed various semi-functioning signposts and found our way to Glacio where we were about to be vigorously patted down until the staff recognised Cindy and backed away. 

There it is... the necklace! It is rather pretty, but not for that price... Absurd... I was feeling increasingly uncomfortable over trying to act nonchalant so stepped outside to message Rufus and update them on the situation. I heard Cindy talking to the manager about the situation and after a mumbled "sure, do whatever you like" Cindy and Skye firmly placed themselves over the necklace, taking turns to step aside and look for clues. I was about to let Rufus know that everything was going smoothly until I heard them both yelling to a customer! I stepped in to witness an argument that I will transcribe to the best of my ability:

CINDY: "Hey, you there. Planning to buy this necklace?"

CUSTOMER: "Well-"

SKYE: "Of course you're not. You're after something else aren't you... Perhaps someone's LIFE?!?!"

CUSTOMER: "What?!?"

CINDY: "DON'T PLAY COY WITH US! We know what you're planning to do. We've got our eyes on you, buddy!"

The customer scurried off, pushing me in the process which only set them off further! Oh boy, it's so embarassing but they've told me to tell the story as it was, blemishes and all, hehe... They were pushed back by a hoard of security and then confronted by the manager who had the letter shoved in her face. She simply scoffed at it! Apparently it was just a mere promotional advertisement that they'd been sending out to customers. Realising the threat was imaginary, we all took our awkward leave... If you're reading this staff at Glacio, sorry for the kerfuffle!

As we navigated through the mall's maze Cindy asked me if I wanted to do any shopping but I really wasn't in the mood nor could I afford anything with the prices they were asking. Skye said that I should treat myself, especially as I'm with the Planet Protectors and that I deserved to treat myself for all the hard work I'd been doing. It took me by surprise in honesty, me? hard work? I said that my work was nothing compared to what everyone else on and around the team were doing but Cindy was quick to put me in my place and give me a stern pep talk! She told me that my hard work hadn't gone unnoticed and that everybody who works for the Planet Protectors, big or small are vital to keeping the organisation running and without everyone working together she and the other fighters on the field wouldn't be able to do what they do. Skye chimed in too, saying that all the paperwork I do is important, whether it's a log of everyone's health, organising our budgets and recording Velocity propoganda each piece of paper goes towards ensuring the ship keeps fighting towards the evil of the galaxy. I was rather speechless as is and blushing like a rose but Cindy finished me off by letting me know that whilst I might think that I'm only offering someone a cup of tea, that small gesture can mean the difference to an exhausted fighter feeling crushed by the burdens. 

She put her hand firmly on my shoulder and told me I mattered. 

I hadn't felt so overwhelmed and full of love for quite some time... Thanking them profusely, I said that I would much rather have a little walk in the local forest as opposed to being dazzled by the upper crusts at the mall.

Just look at this place! Nobody who lives here remembers the lake that once stood here. It's a well frozen pond now that'll never break thanks to all of the layers it's piled up over the centuries. I took a deep breath and we all sat for a moment to soak in the crisp smell of pine through our noses. Yes, this was much more my scene. I expressed my gratitude for the forest; even on a planet overrun with capitalism and elitism there's still a space for nature to thrive. Cindy and Skye agreed with me and expressed their frustration at Tropoi's practices. A place that excludes people for their class and wealth is not a place any of us want part in. Being around here... Whilst it's one of the safest places to be from Velocity, it couldn't help but remind me of them. They're capitalism and elitism to the max and being around those two things in any form make me angry... I'm really not the type to be angry either! 

We lamented over this thought... Higher life may have it's luxuries but it's often at an expense and should be something society strives for, not just those with big wealth. At least here in our positions we can lead by example and be the eco warriors that the galaxy desperately needs! Cindy's eager to take down Velocity as soon as possible so that the economy can come crashing down to a respectable degree. You better watch out, Sabre! 

Cindy got a call from Scott and was needed back at the ship again, so it was time to go home. On the way back, Cindy told us that whilst it's going to be a long and tough process they know that we will all succeed if we stick together. With our second pep talk laid down, Skye charged forward. "What are we waiting for? Back to work!"

It's pathetic, laughable even. As if they could defeat us? I'm sorry they're treating you boz- bozzes. Total bosses. I can't believe they're treating you bosses like this. It's digusting. As if they chould shoot our ships down? That scrawny little basset hound couldn't shoot shit! 

You should still play though. Me and Lana are in it and we look hot. But make sure to let us shoot you down of course. You even get clothes for their stupid dress up games when you play too. They've still not got me on there. Their servers will probably crash from all the sexiness ahahaha.

Anyway come to Velocity. We've got actual games over here. Like "put together novelty snowglobes" - that one's a hit. We have so many players.

It's Rufus, back again for another update just before the holidays hit!  I'm rather close to the deadline here, hehe... Let's get right to it, shall we?

In all the commotion of the last update I completely forgot to share one of the brand new features! Yes, you can now take screenshots and download an image of your finished dress up outfit! All you need to do is select your outfit and background and then click the camera button. The download button will then light up ready for use! Here's an example:

Here's a minty fresh outfit Dukey put together using another new feature! More on that below. He told us he's now frantically searcing for green dye...

🎨CLOTHING CUSTOMISATION 🎨

Have you ever found clothing that you love but just wish it was in a different colour? Well worry no more as you can now fully customise them to your liking! You can tweak the hue, saturation, brightness and opacity of any clothing by simply clicking on the brand new palette icon and selecting the clothing you want to change! This will remain changed until you revert it and everyone else will be able to see your changes too! Pair this with the screenshot feature and you'll be able to make some outfits that are truly unique! This does mean that we'll probably slow down a lot on the various colour variants we have previously released. We won't get rid of any of the existing ones though.

🍝NEW GAME - ZUB'S GRUB!🍝

Yep, that's right! Not even a week later and we have a brand new game to show you. It's a randomly generated platforming game starring my beloved Zub! Your goal is to move Zub through the level, defeating the dastardly spaghetti bots nabbing all of the food and collecting coins on the way. You'll know you've finished when you find a tasty plate of spaghetti to chomp down on! Please head on over to the new Games page and give it a go. You can earn a lot of experience towards Cards when you play!

❔HARD TIMES UPDATE❔

The second illustration for Hard Times has been added! Hopefully the remaining two will be added soon... Gary's finding it hard to recollect these events and I can see why...

🐜BUG FIXES AND OTHER TWEAKS🐜

We've put the bugs in a jar and safely taken them outside! Here's some of the fixes:

- Tweaked some of the newer themes to look well... Visually appealing. We may tweak them further! We've also added a unique sound feature to the rain theme. Check it out!
- Fixed an issue where the randomise feature of the dress up game was causing characters to have multiple faces and other categories that are supposed to be restricted... If you're having this issue don't worry! Just remove all clothing and then switch your selection on the impacted layers. 
- Fixed an issue where the newly added buttons were overlaid on top of the inventory. Now they won't get in the way!
- Fixed animated clothing so that it all loads properly now.

Cindy and Skye are off to investigate a precious jewellery store in MeadowBrook Mall! They've had a few break ins and the festive season's height is mere hours away meaning business will be booming! Kaiya is also tagging along with them to get some last minute gifts. I can't think of anything worse myself... I don't know about you, but I've had my gifts ready since June! 

I'm sure one of them will make a blog post all about their trip sometime after the festivities. We'll try to get it out before the new year!

🎲NEW FEATURES GALORE!🎲

We have a serving of new features and improvements to existing features to share with you!

• The ability to change a character's background on the dress up game has been added! There are currently 20 different options to choose from with more to be added in the future. Press the arrow buttons to swap between them!
  - The ability to randomize a character's outfit has been added! Simply click the dice button and it will take something from each layer that you've unlocked and apply it to your character. It does NOT alter layers that are non removable (such as hands, faces, ears) so you will need to choose these yourself. 
  - Cards are now hidden around the site. You'll soon spot them - they'll be floating above the page! Click on one and it'll be transported to your inventory so that you can open it on the Cards page. There's three to find each day and they are only on core pages, not sub pages. Good luck hunting!
  - Signatures are now animated when moused over. Give it a try at the end of this blogpost!

Introducing games! A brand new page where you can play games to earn experience towards cards. This is complimentary to the Quiz and you can still earn the same amount of cards through it. The games page simply allows you to earn even more! We hope this gives you more incentive to grab cards and unlock outfits for the dress up game. The homepage has been given an update! It now makes it clearer what the main crux of the website is and should point you in the right direction. We've also added a brand new random character feature! As long as you're signed in, you can now click on lil' ol' me to get directed towards a random character page. Perfect for meeting new faces! We've also added a dress up promo where Gary used to be (don't worry, he's moved next to me!) - It'll be updated with the latest character(s) available and upon clicking it will direct you right to them to play. The latest news section has been upgraded too - it now shows even more news! We've also updated the quick navigation with some fresh faces that'll take you to even more pages!

🐞CHANGES/BUGFIXES🐞
- Remember how you could only unlock certain clothing with secret codes? That's no longer the case! You can now unlock any previously exclusive item through Cards too. Don't worry, all of the codes are still active so you'll be rewarded for tracking them down! We may choose to release new clothing purely through secret codes again in the future but for now everything can be unlocked through the cards. Hope you enjoy this new streamlined process! The idea was to make a good balance where you are rewarded for being curious and looking around whilst still having the option to relax, take it easy and progress in your own way without being locked out of a huge pool of items. 
- Streamlined the card opening process. It got slower the more clothing you unlocked so we have fixed this to make it quicker!
- Fixed an issue where three of OG Rufus' items lacked proper ID thus making them unobtainable. You can get them through Cards now! 
- Navigation has changed! The drop down menus have been removed so that important pages aren't hidden. Let us know how you like it! We can change back if needed. 
- Fixed issues regarding completing and unlocking all dress up items - Now that cards are so much easier to unlock this should be somehting more players will experience! 

⏳COMING SOON⌛

Well, your average blog post! We had a standard December Update in the works but with all of these site updates we decided it was best to delay it for now. One thing we did want to quickly note though is that I (Rufus) got some new festive clothing! You can grab them through Cards of course but we'll also have some codes to directly unlock them in the next post. 

More games. This was just us getting started! As of writing this we have at least three more in development. We're also considering a feature where you'll be able to unlock exclusive inspired clothing through playing specific games, like a snake shirt for example! That's still in the brainstorming phase though. We've also got an idea for another dress up feature though it is quite ambitious... We'll have to code overtime and see if we can pull it off! We're also planning to take a look at the newer themes and give them some much needed polish.

As you can imagine with lots of changes and rearranges comes the opportunity for bugs to rise... Let us know if you spot any in the Guestbook and we'll get to squishing them! Or containing them in a jar or something... That also sounds so cruel... We'll uh, set them free!

CRITTERS

You see these little blighters?!? You may recognise them from Rufus' last dress up clothing batch, particularly on the pjyamas. The red one is Zub and the yellow one is Tac. They're mischevious little creatures who adapt to pretty much any situation they're needed for. Seems like a rather cynical attempt at making a marketable group of mascots to me but Rufus has become nostalgia blinded after digging those cursed pjyamas out! Normally that wouldn't be a problem but he accidentally dropped his hard drive of ethically sourced Zub Tac and Skitter episodes into our server so now we have to sift through them all just to get a post out. I could just strangle them! If only they had necks.

Rufus dug out some more merchandise from his youth too. It's my great displeasure to give you the codes to unlock them in the dress up game - ZEALOUSZUB and TICKTAC 

I'm not sure what the copyright holders would have to say about us adding their beloved mascots to our game without consent. Rufus says they're big fans of the fans. Just know copyright holders... Unlike those infernal mascots you guys DO have necks. 

Okay, Scott's telling me to scrub that line out. Oh, my brother too. Here comes Cindy. I'm just kind of like typing this as they all surround me screaming for me to stop. It's been a long day. If you can read this then we made a mistake and somehow didn't delete it. We wouldn't do that, would we?

Yes, isn't it great! I love mascots and corporate. Yes, well, if you are wondering what's coming up next we have Cindy's dress up game to wrap up and of course those Hard Times illustrations... We're also looking to add more photographs to the Planets section. As you can probably tell by now our plans can be rather shaky but rest assured we will always be up to something.

We don't have too much to report at this current moment! Hard Times illustrations are still on the way as are new dress up items so we hope you look forward to seeing them. For now though we thought we'd pop out an update on what we do have so that you know we're still around and chugging along!

MANDY'S HERE!

Mandy has taken the time to visit us and get her photos taken! Thank you, Mandy!

You can find all of the new images over on her page. With Mandy's photos taken we have now taken all of the photos we plan to take! We of course have many other friends and foes that we could take pictures of but it'd be a case of somehow persuading some of them to come on over! It's something we'd like to do but for the mean time our little photo taking journey comes to an end. 

DROOG'S DIRT 

We've managed to crack through a layer of the rock Droog gave Skye... It really wasn't easy! We were able to get some photos transferred over of the creatures Skye reported on. Take a look for yourself! 

We're still looking through to get more information on who these people are... A contact number sure would be nice... Would it even work? That's for us to find out I guess! Assuming we can find something like that of course. There were some other people on the rock but we were unable to retrieve photos of them... We'll keep trying!

You may have noticed that Droog's friends seem to be wearing some of the clothes in his dress up game! Maybe if we all wear them too on our profiles we can catch their attention somehow? If you don't have them unlocked here's some codes!

It is true though. The tenth and final chapter of Hard Times is now available to read. We hope you enjoy the conclusion and look forward to the illustrations that will be added soon. They are quite ambitious so it could be a while before it is all illustrated.

After this we are planning to return to the previous stories, Red Alert and Experiments, to rewrite them and ensure that their quality meets that of Hard Times.

The team are incredibly busy putting some finishing touches on some brand new major features for the website! You can expect a blog post soon going through all of that soon. I wanted to get my findings out of the way first.

Dukey has gotten back to me regarding the various people in his life. He wasn't quite sure as to why I was interested and at this point neither was I. I can't help it. I have to dig deeper. I'm nosy like that. He's an open book though and so are his friends. He gave me a bunch of information regarding their pasts. I've compiled everything I've been told into character sheets for you. 

Of course there's overlap here. Keen viewers of the website will know that Subwoofer is a DJ of a very famous nightclub now and that Patch is his biggest supporter. It's important to note that these character sheets are detailing information from the past, around five years ago or so from what Dukey told me. I find it fascinating just how much everybody's lives have changed in just the span of a couple years. I had no idea Dukey was such a huge celebrity! 

He also shared with me an old video between Rocco and Melody which we've compiled into a new One Offs comic. Take a look when you have a moment.

He has promised me to keep sharing glimpses into their past. They are all good friends now but it seemed that there was a lot of tension back in the day. We will continue to share anything provided so that readers can discover the origin story of these interesting people. Rufus is also looking into creating a new page specifically for the members of what we're dubbing "Project Subwoofer". There will of course be overlap with the same characters appearing on both pages. Just keep in mind that the regular page reflects who the character is presently and the Project Subwoofer pages/information reflect who the characters were in the past. 

That's it from me for now. I realise it sounds quite confusing. Just remember... Project Subwoofer = past and Planet Xylox = present!

Hopefully Cindy and I can get into the dress up booth too and get some more clothing out... So much to do, so little time...

As Skye mentioned last week me and Rufus on a trip with our friend Mandy to the planet Jukmarkh. Rufus thought it'd make a good blog post but didn't have the time to make it. You know who does? Me! Plenty of time.

It all started with a message from Mandy asking if she could get some help from us in collecting some special parts for her space canon. For those who don't know, Mandy is a super tough polar bear who lives above the skies of Tropoi and keeps watch over it with her space station. I wasn't too interested and Rufus was too busy but he soon changed his tune after hearing about the warehouse of techy doodahs that Mandy needed to get to. Cindy asked me to go to protect him as Jukmarkh is not a planet for the feint heart. It's literally impossible to visit there unless you're a local because it's full of heaping pools of lava and is hot enough to burn you to a crisp before you've even touched the surface. How were we gonna get there? Why would we risk such a stupid mission? Well... Technology has advanced quite a bit. 

Enter the Flamesuit, an incredibly thin covering that has the ability to absorb and withstand temperatures to an extreme degree. Sounds great right? Well it has a big catch. It's incredibly expensive. Thanks to their creator Lord Farkletwarp only the richie rich snobs can access them. This isn't by choice; the locals would love to have more tourists but the technology is just too expensive right now. To be fair it does change your hue and gives you a sick palette to match the flaming hot atmosphere which is handy for identifying if you've even put it on or not. Thankfully service workers such as ourselves are able to loan Flamesuits in advance so that we can help out on the planet and such. We ordered them to the ship and headed out when Mandy was free over the weekend.

Just look at this place! Despite our Flamesuits it was still so boiling. Mandy made a mistake wearing that space suit. We couldn't believe how huge the plant life was here, you could use them as blankets! Not that you'd need blankets here. It felt super organic and peaceful, kind of reminded me of home... There was structure there. You could tell that people were at work to keep the wildlife nice and clean. My first instinct was to take a peek in one of the many lava springs dotted around, we couldn't believe that we could get that close to them... Rufus and I were hesitant to dip our toes into one but Mandy just leaped in face first. She got stuck in the crater and after some frantic pulling with the expectation of Mandy's face being skeletal remains we were surprised to see that she was just fine! The suits are the real deal. Rufus was oh so jealous of the people who work on the suits. He's gonna try get in with their team. 

I started splashing around in the lava river whilst Mandy dealt with her demanding husband Randy on her communicator. He was very angry with her for the crime of leaving him alone to 'babysit' their son Andy. Rufus awkwardly tiptoed next to the boiling lava so I came back to check in on them both and Mandy was super embarassed after cutting the communication. Rufus told her not to worry but I struggled to keep my anger in and asked why someone as headstrong as her would tolerate such a deadbeat man. This sounds assumptive on my side but we've dealt with Randy before and he is NOT a nice guy. When we went to destroy the Red Light he refused to believe that I was a Protector and deemed my entire species useless. Mandy didn't defend him to my surprise... She said that she was looking out for her son and trying to give him a stable childhood. I questioned if having that man in his life was truly stable or not to which she seemed to ponder over... Rufus couldn't stand the tension and got us moving along to the warehouse. I apologised for my stubbornness on the way and ensured her that no matter what choice she makes in life she'll have us behind her. 

(If you're worried, don't be. Mandy and Rufus gave me blessing to tell our full story, warts and all. I guess she wants opinions on what she should do. Would the kid be better off with a single mom or both parents with a douchebag father who sees his son as a chore? Hmmm.... Randy won't be reading this by the way, he thinks we're a propaganda site fueled by the mafia.)

We got to the warehouse and it was just as boring as you'd expect. After around twenty minutes or so I headed out the back and waited at the parking lot. Every single nut and bolt must be inspected by these two! Sadly our time there was yet to be over... Apparently the parts ordered needed to be verified so we were told to come back in thirty minutes. They were about to go back in to wait when I pointed out a smoothie shack nearby called Screechy Smoothies. Rufus left their heavy shopping bag full of bolts with the cashier and we took a nice stroll on over to the shack. This planet was soooo dry. Really worked up our thirst.

It was a great place! The bartender Kechrimpári was such a cool dude. Real relaxed and friendly. He said that he doesn't get customers all too often. He had such a great variety of smoothies available. Mandy and Rufus had an icy blueberry smoothie to cool down but I went for the big one, the grand smoothie, the bartender's choice... The MMMMolten Marvel, a dragon fruit smoothie covered in actual lava and paprika. Kech promised us that the Flamesuits covered our insides as well as our outsides. I was NOT turning down the chance to drink molten lava!!! 

It did NOT agree with me. 

Kech told us that the customer's first visit came with smoothies on the house but we insisted that we paid. He said that this was the first time a newbie ever paid for their smoothies... Apparently the non dinosaurs who live here act like tourists and demand everything on a silver platter. Seeing us was a refreshing sight, apparently. He hopes for that elite bubble to burst especially since they're so rude towards him just trying to get an income to afford a house so that he can live with his boyfriend. Accessible Flamesuits couldn't come quickly enough. We asked why he didn't try taking his shack around the galaxy since travel is so cheap and accessible these days but he said he can't stand being cold! Jukmarkh is his home and despite the elites he's incredibly grateful to be here. The environment is so relaxing for his species whilst also being incredibly hostile to outsiders that Velocity doesn't dare attempt to invade. Hopefully they never figure out the Flamesuit technology.

We collected the parts and were ready to head out so Mandy checked her communicator to let Randy know only for a barrage of irate voice messages and calls to come hurling their way. She firmly put the blasted thing down and asked us if we wanted to go for a dip in the lava springs to cool off- wait no, heat up? Either way we wanted to relax and relax we did!

This is the life... It was like having a hot bath and being in a sauna all at once! We were going to have another drink but they evaporated. We uhhhh didn't think that one through too much. Here Rufus gently reminded Mandy of the help and support that the Planet Protectors can give. She appreciated it but ensured us that she and her kid are tough cookies who can handle themselves. Being a tough cookie also means not being afraid to reach out if needs be, something we all know all too well.

Well, that was our trip. We all really enjoyed it! It's not often that you get to go to Jukmarkh. This was our first time! Scott and Cindy have been a few times though. I don't think Jack nor Melissa would even be capable of getting anywhere near it... The Flamesuit can only protect you so much, they struggle not to melt on hot planets let alone scatching. Ol' Lord Farkletwarp made this great invention for accessibility but I still don't trust him, he probably has some money making scheme up in his hands. Either way if you get the chance to visit the planet you should definitely take it. The environment is awesome and organic and the locals are super chill and friendly. Hope we get to meet again if you're reading this Kech!

Just a quick update. You may remember the image Casey posted in an earlier blog post of "some people standing"...

Other than Dukey someone else looked quite familliar too... We have reasons to believe that the fellow first in line is none other than the Xyloxian celeb DJ Subwoofer. Jack also recognised the lion to be Patch, best friend to the DJ. We weren't sure what ties Dukey had to the celeb (who wasn't answering Jack's calls) so I decided to message Dukey and ask for more info. It's best to know who we're dealing with here after all.

He's quite a dry texter. He said they're a couple. Nothing out of the ordinary then... If Jack trusts DJ Subwoofer then I trust Dukey, assuming they are indeed an item. I asked for more proof given how high status the DJ is and Dukey sent me some old footage where they seemed less than keen on eachother and also some footage of unrelated people making tortillas? I have no idea. I feel my credentials as a detective slipping every day.

NEW HARD TIMES CHAPTER OUT NOW!

Ah, this is probably why they wanted me here. Yes, I am here to let you know that the latest chapter of Hard Times has just released. It is all about my first ever meet up with the infamous Hyena HenchFurry... I'll let you give it a read. I'm still not quite over it.

There's one illustration right now with three more to be added ASAP. You may wanna prepare your eyes for the first one but then again I didn't get that chance so... Up to you! Just make sure you're prepared for an absurd amount of vulgarity. Remember that this website is adults only. 

NEW THEMES NOW AVAILABLE!

Apparently Rufus has been working on sorting out some barriers that have been blocking them from making certain changes such as adding themes and character pages. They're still working on them but are happy to let you all know that the barriers are being thoroughly trampled over. There's now FIVE new themes to enjoy, these being the Mechanical, Bubbles, Rain, Space and Rufus themes. There's some kinks here and there to be sorted out so we appreciate your patience as they are worked on. If you spot any bugs or minor issues or even just suggestions don't be afraid to head on over to the Guestbook and give us your thoughts.

Yes, my brother's game may have only just concluded but that does not mean we have stopped working. 

My dress up game has launched with 63 new items. 15 will be available for you right from the get go. You may need to sign in and out to refresh the cache and see the dress up game properly. 

My game also has an unique gimmick to it being the new Suits layer of clothing. Here you can find full body latex suits of various different natures to dress me up in. There's camoflage suits and even superhero suits with capes to collect. As of right now there are no items exclusive to codes however this will change through future updates as we add new clothes. That's right, we had a surprise up our sleeves after all! Not one but TWO entirely brand new dress up games launching together. Rufus wanted to ensure there was something new and unexpected to anticipate after my accidental revealing of my own game last time... They would've shared all of this news themselves but they're quite shy about putting their body out there like this for all to see so please be nice! 

Rufus has 67 new items with 21 being unlocked right out of the bat. For now there's also no special code exclusive items. Rufus also has an unique gimmick being the new Ears layer of clothing. Rufus has very elastic ears and as such often uses them to style their hair. We hope you enjoy unlocking and playing with all of the different styles! Rufus would like me to give you codes to unlock three additional ear styles:

I'm glad to have a second to sit down and type a blog post up. I'm so sorry it can be lacking at times... We are all spread thinly between matinence and heroic duties. It must've been desperate if Polly had to post something! Things are running smoothly though. Still no game changing updates to report on right now but work is still chugging along well and we have a warm plate of content to serve you during this frosty month!

HEADSHOTS, GLORIOUS HEADSHOTS

We gathered our good friends outside of the Protectors workforce and snapped some headshots to finish up our collection. Having the police officer and Mandy together in the same room was quite the energetic experience; I think they really hit it off! We even had time to snap a picture of the Infobot; you can see them alongside their new biography on the Robots page. 

...Poodle Receptionist also decided to take a headshot it seems as our very own website has somehow uploaded a new version onto our server. Remind me to completely gut their hardware for analysis next time we pop on over to Headquarters.

With these last headshots that means that everybody has been updated! Hopefully we can get everyone back into the studio lickety split for full body shots.

THEMES RETURN!

Yup, that's right! We had previously posted about the Halloween theme returning and it never did. Oops. Apparently the thingamajig that makes it rotate was no longer doing that. So cutie over here got to work and we decided to scrap the rotation system in favour of having all themes available all the time! Halloween, Christmas and Valentines themes have now returned and you will be able to use them whenever you like. We also have added a BRAND NEW theme...

Introducing the Festival theme! The comets in the night sky will slowly shoot down your screen. This is available to choose right now and now that everything is in working order we are planning to add some more sometime soon!

I know Casey addressed this in our previous blog post but I would also like to extend my apologies for the lack of updates. We're really hoping to nip this in the bud. It has only been a week but there have already been some updates to share. Let's get right into them, shall we?

SCOTT DRESS UP - NOW LIVE!

Yes, that's right. They somehow got me in on this whole dress up charade.
 "Publicity is what keeps us afloat! Get with the time gramps. Get your kit off!" - Is what Casey has been yelling at me for months now. I can't let her win. I was baffled at the thought of someone of my status presenting my pure unfiltered body to the masses. I still am now. Be gentle with me please. I'm sure I can trust you all to undress and dress me appropriately. Actually, I don't think I can. Just know I won't tolerate shenanigans.

There are 50 items in total (including a brand new animated item) to collect however not all are available yet. You start with 15 items, 12 items are currently locked for a Halloween event later this month and 3 items are hidden somewhere on this website. They may be closer than you think... As for the rest, you can unlock them through the quiz and hopefully some other games soon if the technicians can get their act together.

...Apparently I wasn't supposed to type about that last piece of information but my space bar is stuck firmly to the keyboard so alas there is not much I can do about it. 

My dress up is part of this newfangled process they keep yappering on about. Expect gradual updates over time that will bulk out my wardrobe to the level of previous games released. I believe other dress up games will release in the meantime too. No game is truly ever complete; all are legible for new clothing at some point as you will soon see.

DRESS UP-DATE

Aside from the new Cev item from his comic, there's nothing to report new about the dress ups. We've put them on hold for a while to focus on other stuff though we do have some plans in mind... Including some brand new spooky items for all of our newer cast members next month! Rufus also wanted me to let you know that they've decided to put the batch releases on hold. Instead of a dress up game releasing with a bunch of clothes it will instead be smaller games launching with a small pool of clothes that will be gradually added over time. This will lighten the workload and give you access to more fun people to plaster over your profile. The amount of content won't change but the rate of release will. You get me?

We also talked about some future plans regarding alternative methods of nabbing clothes; this is still something we're interested in doing but it's a lot more work than anticipated; we'll need your hype and support for it!

Alright, talk about a drab ending... Dukey randomly texted Skye the words "PROJECT SUBWOOFER" followed by this image of just a bunch of people standing there? She and Jack are super duper convinced that it all means something. I have no idea what any of it means but apparently this isn't the first time DJ Subwoofer and Dukey have been seen together. Apparently they were seen on this blog together? I wouldn't know, I don't read what I don't write.

Speaking of new headshots, I'm not sure how this ended up in our system but Leon has seemingly updated his headshot too. Ugh... He also added a brand new One Shot comic over on the Comics page, it's highly innapropriate. We're trying to remove it!

What is it with all these guys breaking into our system to upload selfies??? Evil corpo bros and mad scientists and even Dukey! Dukey if you're reading this it's lovely that you're chilling and relaxing with some guy- Wait, isn't that? Nah, it can't be. Anyway- Our server is not a place for you to upload personal photos.

They do look cosy though. I swear that's Subwoofer... No, it can't be. He doesn't have his iconic sideburn and goatee fades!

Scott here. Just a quick post to announce our first ever Universal Dress Up item. According to Rufus, this item type is one that is used by multiple dress up games. This item is perfect for tonight; New Year Shades.

Hope you enjoy them. Rufus would usually be the one to post but he has went out to a little get together with Kaiya's friends. Normally such activities would be forbidden but the little guy deserves some rest and relaxation. I hope he can find it with Kaiya's noisy friends. Cindy has went out clubbing with Skye, Jack has invited everyone else to SUBMANIA but that's not my scene.

I think I will put my feet up and enjoy a nice crossword. Anything's better than whatever brain numbing activities the rest of the squad has planned I'm sure. Yes... Tea and a crossword. That'll do me nicely. Someone has to keep watch of the ship afterall.

I think some of our interns have put together a little party in the communal room. Nothing major I believe, nothing loud... Just a snack pit and some reruns on TV. Perhaps I'll venture towards it if I'm feeling particularly festive.

I would write more, but I do not feel like it. I hope you understand. This year's been rather taxing, hasn't it? We're still here though. We've made it through. May this next year treat us with kindness.

It's a very exciting time; as we mentioned last time we've hit the grand milestone of 1000 different dress up items to collect in our game! What's a better way of celebrating than giving out a bunch of them for free? See the image below for details!

It's me, Jack and I'm here with amazing news; my dress up game is now LIVE and READY TO PLAY!!! All you gotta do is sign up if you haven't already (which is super quick and easy) and head on over to the game tab. Remember, if you're looking to unlock additional items of clothing for the game, you need to head on over to the quiz section.

As you can see there's a few things different with mine... For a start I have introduced two entirely new layers to the system, one being for my various different shapeshifting ablities and the other for my darling boyfriend Roary. He just couldn't help but get into the shot! Don't worry though; this doesn't make him illegible for his own dress up game. It's also in the works!

The other change is that I don't have as many items as Cev, Harvey and that police officer guy. That's going to change though as additional clothing from my closet will be added to the game over time! Expect things to be dropped pretty consistently, once every couple weeks at the slowest. We will of course let you know when it is all done. We may take breaks here and there to prep the next dress up game in the process, which will allow us to add multiple new items for multiple dress up games in one batch! We're trying out this system to keep things more active and also letting us showcase and promote new drops more frequently. You're more than free to share your thoughts over on our Guestbook!

Oh, like usual there's a couple items that you can only get from secret codes... We're saving them for an upcoming event which will celebrate the milestone we've already reached; 1000 dress up items! Can you believe that? Wild. We've got a lot of clothes in our wardrobes!

Sorry about the exclamation. Rufus insisted I add one. Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to keep people updated on our latest ongoings. It has been a month since we last got in touch; thankfully the pesky Hyena issue has been sorted. He is no longer blocking our access to update here however he has created quite the stain on our servers, you see, we cannot go one mome-

Ugh. See what I mean? Thankfully these are being cleared out as we speak. We can't outright delete the blighters, so they're being moved over to Hyena's character page. Best to have things logged incase this propoganda spreads further. Rest assured all images and information on Velocity pages are all factual and written by ourselves. Stay vigilant and aware of the truth and it will reward you.

Next up, some actually good news. Howloween approaches and with that our little group are preparing themselves for a night of spooky celebrations. We will be giving out some additional items of clothing closer to the day but for now it turns out that Bill had a whole orange pumpkin outfit in his storage that he was holding out on us until now! Indeed, we are trying something new to ensure the content flow is relatively constant. Expect characters to drop with a limited wardrobe with more clothes being added over time. For now though I'd like to show you a sneak peek of the room a future dress up is taking place in... Can you guess who it belongs to?

Just a quick post - We've been trying to get something out for a while now but keep hitting a roadblock. Remember that hyena guy and his dating sim we warned about earlier? He seems to have upped his marketing; every time we try to post something we're spammed with images of him. 

He looks a little... Rounder than last time, don't you think? I have no idea what I'm looking at... Velocity tech makes us look like mere woodworkers. We don't know what this is or what it's being made for but with Velocity backing it there's no chance it's safe. Please be careful out there folks. We're working on eliminating these darn images, but it's taking us some time! 

Hm, what else can I tell you whilst we have this little moment of time... We're working on a short comic and will be getting a move on with our next dress up soon. Oh, and if you didn't notice, Polly had her headshot updated!

As Scott mentioned in our previous blog post, I have been researching into the history of the infamous Lemur Clan, rampant criminals who ransackled Xylox of its economic wealth and legacy. If you haven't heard of them before then you can read a short synopsis on the Groups page. 

Whilst they may all be imprisoned now (minus their leader but that's another story we will need to divulge in at a later date) the impacts of their actions cannot be understated and still have lasting effects to this day. Xylox has had a long streak of targeted attacks be it from lowlife criminals such as the Lemur Clan or capitalist cult leaders such as the likes of Farkletwarp and Team Velocity thanks to its rich water supply. As quite a few of our team members lived here including Scott and I we see it an upmost piority to preserve and protect what is left of Xylox so that it can fully rebuild and thrive. Without Xylox many other planets would suffer with their water supply and other exports. What the Lemur Clan did was purely selfish and reckless however media coverage at the time of their attacks was incredibly frantic and full of conflicting reports. 

Ah, as is the media. Whatever, just more work to pile onto me as I set the records straight. So far I have been putting all of my efforts into the member named Kaboom. This man is unpredictable and extremely volatile. He got this nickname thanks to his fascination with explosives. The press have attempted to look into his childhood and figure out the root of his arsonic desires but it's all just speculative. The interest has supposedly been there since the start. No, what I was interested in was figuring out just how he acquired explosives by the boatload to commit his crimes. Then I recall a memory from a few years ago now of our receptionist Audrey rushing into our tea room with a newspaper that was somehow fresh off the press. I guess Xyloxians couldn't afford electronic news back then. It was then that I decided to rummage through our archives in our ship's basement (Scott's adamant on never throwing things out which has been a saviour for preservation) and was able to acquire the old paper and read back on one of his very first acts before he joined up with the clan.

Here's a closer look at the photograph too... A little stained in coffee, but it'll do.

Okay, so as to be expected with the press back then (and now) it's riddled with errors and biased opinions which I'll refute now. It also appears that someone has written their secret chore list over the paper, sorry about that. I'm not sure who it was but they clearly have no respect for Tanya Teets. 

First of all, the warehouse raided in question was and still is primarily focused on distributing mass produced fireworks and explosives purely for public use for celebrations and festivals. The troop thing just fitted a current narrative. I also highly doubt an individual as unpredictable as Kaboom cares much for politics. Nothing I see from press directly confirms that anyway. You see Kaboom, unlike the other clan members, has never publicly addressed the press. There's no knowing why he did what he did and upon capture he refused to communicate. Not as important but I found some blurry images of him before the crime was committed and he was wearing a shirt so it must've been destroyed in the scuffle. 

Yeah... Not much to say honestly when you're talking pure facts and without speculation. Many assume that this man was deeply troubled and came from a poor background but this was mostly just the press trying to mix and match their current ongoing narratives. When arresting the clan they seemed to scoff at any reference to Kaboom's supposed poor upbringing. They all took pride in coming from completely healthy and mostly wealthy backgrounds, though who knows if they're telling the truth; they're not exactly interested in treating us with any respect. 

What we do know though is that Kaboom was their weapons expert and was great at causing a scene. Robberies would be a spectacle; you would know if an attack loomed by Kaboom's signature flames scattering around the walls. Security was often decimated through grenades and fireworks. Even evil can thrive when they butt their heads together; alone he would struggle with largescale activities (see the newspaper above) but with his fellow criminals they had no problem breezing through heists. One key weapon Kaboom was often seen with was a nunchuk fashioned out of two fireworks conjoined together with a rope that'd spark and flame up when whipped. It's believed that this was a conjoined creation between the clan using their combined wits and resources from their own individual heists before banding together. 

The news article was not the first nor was it the last. Kaboom would visit this factory and other ones quite frequently to stock up on his weapons. As time progressed he would be spotted wearing bigger and baggier clothes so that he could take as many explosives as possible. Before he joined the clan he mostly wasted them by setting off fires down the streets of Xylox. He was a local nuisance and a slippery one too; nobody could ever find him after he set the streets alight. Upon meeting with the clan he agreed to share his stock of explosives in order to well... get more. The bigger the boom, the bigger the grin on his face.

Well, that's all I can really say about Kaboom without diving into the mass speculation. Whilst he is locked up and cannot cause any problems nowadays the damage that he caused in his prime cannot be understated. It is our duty to bring awareness to this and to ensure it never happens again. We'll make sure of it.

Just a quick little update here; we've been working on a new type of helpful robot for a while now... After the success of our Helper Bots we've felt a little pressured to make our next product just as handy. I sure hope you enjoy what we have in store, heheh...

Introducing... Garbot!

Garbot aims to be the utlimate garbage disposal unit. I have added this entry to the Robots page, so make sure you're signed in and go give it a read! They are um... Very much a work in progress... Please let us know what we could do to improve it, gently though please! 

There's around ten or so of these models in our ship right now and it will be a while before we roll them out for public consumption. It was Cindy's idea to replace the arms with tubes and we're looking into making them suction through garbage just like the lid atop their head! It's um... Not going too well; Melissa tried to use our first prototype tube and got sucked right through it...

You may have seen a previous model in The Quest comic series that we've been publishing on the website too. Development hell can be a headache!

Speaking of which, here's a picture I took earlier whilst sorting out all of the doccuments we have regarding the Garbot. Hope it explains why posting isn't super frequent!...

(Note to self - that's you, Rufus! There's some secret codes on that image that I need to remove before publishing this blog post. I'm sure I won't forget!)

Sorry it took so long to get these biographies to you! We've been working behind the scenes on various different things... You may have seen them take effect already! Here's what we've changed recently:

All items can now be seen in inventory, locked items are greyed out. Now you know exactly what you're missing! We've also made further improvements on the inventory display to make it easier to select clothing. There's now a button you can press to reset your character so that you don't have to spend time removing each item!

Mobile support for the dress up game has been drastically improved. It's a lot easier to play now as we've tweaked image proportions!

Issues regarding registration have been fixed. Audrey had accidentally dropped a paperclip in our registration machine, tangling up all the files... Sorry about that! Please check this image for more information and please don't hesitate to contact us on our social medias if you're having issues logging in.

Bill Cooper here and what an honour it is to BE HERE, on the PLANET PROTECTORS own website! What a hoot... I'm struggling to contain my excitement!

Right right, where were we? Ah yes, I'm Bill Cooper, chief police officer of the Planetary Police! We do our best here to look out for the solar system's safety but we'd be hopeless without the help of the Planet Protectors.

Rufus invited me over to their starboard ship to model for their latest dress up game! I'm not going to go into detail about my experience... My excitement was rather embarassing! I usually only talk over text to Rufus. It was lovely seeing them in person. Rufus chose me to "highlight the work of the Planetary Police" and "Previous work as a model"... I've only done it once, but I guess my confidence was felt!

It was lovely going through my closet and memory lane in a sense; I rarely ever toss clothes out and as such my outfits have a lot of stories to tell! You'll hear those in the next blog post. You'll find my outfits from my time as a rugby player and my current job as a police officer, there's various casualwear and some uh... More embarassing outfits. As a police officer, I think it's important to be as transparent and open as possible. You should be able to know everything about me! That being said... I hope my boss doesn't fire me when she sees some of the things I've worn!

Apparently my closet is the biggest so far! There's over 180 items of clothing to collect, with 39 pieces being available to everybody right from the get go. Like always, there will be secret code exclusive items too. We'll let you know how to find them in due time!

Bill's dress up game is just around the corner. We've only got a few little things to wrap up before we enter the release phase! I am writing this blog post to let you know about a few quality of life updates we've made to the dress up system:

- Hairstyles are now removable for OG Roary. This was an awkward sacrifice to make but a necessary one in order for the 'Jack' item to work correctly.
- The 'Subwoofer' item for Guest Dukey is now working as intended. No more layering issues!
- The limit on the amount of accessories you can apply to a character has been removed. Go nuts!
- Minor thumbnail fixes in order for the inventory space to be a consistent size.

For those who don't know him (which is most of our crew sadly) Bill is a very nice man who works very hard for the Planetary Police and is always polite and friendly to me when we have to communicate for issues beyond his power. I rarely see him off duty but when I do he's always wearing some real funky fashion! I asked him if he would be willing to be our next dress up subject and boy was it a good idea; he has the largest wardrobe of clothing I've seen yet! I've also been able to flex my coding muscles; you'll not only be able to alter his facial expression but you'll be able to alter his raised hand too. You'll see!

As I'm writing this we are almost done with work here. Just need to wrap up a few things. Please stay tuned!

Marshall here for another Rapid Recap! Yup, I'm the one doing it this time! Why? Cindy didn't want to! I wanted to talk all about my bestest buddiest chum Jabari and she had no problem with me doing that on the blog.

Lemme tell you all about Jabari. We've been friends for so long! I first met them whilst I had a brief temp job at a records store off the outskirts of Friscora. I was polishing up a fresh new record player when Jabari entered through the sliding doors dressed in a traditional waist skirt and sneakers with a scarf wrapped around their chest. They held a sword tightly in their hand and used it as a cane instantly commanding their presence... Well, to me, anyway. 

They looked so cool! My manager had no time for it so told me to "kick the loonatic out" but I couldn't do that! They were too cool! Anyways, I asked if they were dressing up for a party or something for which they didn't seem to understand... Apparently they were on a 'mission' and were looking for a criminal to seek justice towards. I hadn't seen anyone shady about as Friscora is a relatively clean place. Regardless, they asked if they would be able to stakeout here every week as they knew their target was a local. I said sure... As long as you put on some casual clothes and buy a record each time otherwise my manager will kick off!

Jabari still has their record collection to this day and a whole bunch of 'casual' band t shirts from that store. What was once compliance ended up being a great source of enjoyment for them! We really bonded a lot over that time and they even followed me over to my next job as a fruit salesman. They were excellent at slicing fruit with their sword! If you ask Jah now why they stuck around me all the time back then they'd tell you it was to protect me but nah, I think they just really liked me, heh! 

Yeah, back then they were really stiff and formal, they took their job seriously even though nobody was paying them or anything, just fought for what's right! Nowadays I've been able to get them out of their shell a little bit, though they're still very calm and tranquil. Helps keep me grounded honestly! It's thanks to me that this strict warrior has a lethal injection of pop culture and fun right in their veins. Still, if they need to fight you can bet they will, and thanks to them, so will I!

Yep, Jabari trained me to fight. It was a whooole thing. You see, a while back before I met them the planet Corgamaious was under attack and without thinking Jabari headed into the palace grounds to fight on the battlefield and help protect it from the dastardly Velocity. The Planet Protectors were also there but Jabari thought they could help too. Sadly despite everyone's best efforts the battle was lost and Corgamaious was lost to Velocity control. I think this is why Jah was so strict on themselves...

(Here's a pic from the fight. Even back then they were wearing that awesome warrior outfit! I asked Jah how long they had it but they said this wasn't the same one? They have a ton of them apparently. Shortly after this pic was taken, some Velocity goons tore it apart in the scuffle. Oops! That didn't phase Jah though. What a fearless warrior!)

So yeah, Jabari eventually confessed this to me when we were talking deeper one day after my shift at a lizard hairdressing salon and I said "Well, why don't you join the Planet Protectors full time? You whilst as well!" But they weren't interested and wanted to continue working alone. Velocity was getting to be more and more of a threat though so I did my best to convince them that teamwork makes the dream work. They gave in, on one condition... They'd train me and I'd join alongside them! I wasn't so sure... I mean, I was just so busy with my job as a waterfighter... Ah what the heck, what have I got to lose I thought and went for it! 

Months of training later and it turns out you can just apply and get in pretty easy. Yeah, uh, the Protectors are hiring for all sorts of different jobs, receptionists, planetary security guards, cleaners, social media managers, you name it. We were over qualified! 

And that's pretty much where we are now, huh! We're on missions here and there and doing what we can to help the planet out one step at a time. I can tell that Jabari longs for bigger and better jobs, but we gotta prove our worth and step up the ladder! 

Corgamaious may be under your control Velocity, but rest assured that Jah and I won't let you take anything else!!!

Uh... This kind of ended up being one big ramble about our little story on how we got here, didn't it? Hope you found it inspiring or something! Jabari is THE most reliable guy I've ever met. Not once have they ever let me down on anything be it physical or mental. If you need their help they're happy to ablige! Just make sure to give them a cup of tea for a job well done. Whether you need back up in a fight, help finding a lost remote control or a relaxing meditation and self reflection class, just know that Jabari's the one for it all!

Oh! I also made this little drawing of us. You like? My artistic talents leave a lot to be desired, I'll be honest! It's hard to draw with sticky salamander fingers. 

Okay, that's it. Oh wait! Jabari also hosts yoga and meditation classes for our crew on the ship. Once a week they dock on Xylox and do a community session outside the town centre. You're free to pop along and join us!

Hope you're all doing well. I've been in quite the rut myself... No matter how hard I try and work on improving our code base, nothing's sticking. Jack and Melissa are busy on missions at the moment so it's just me taking charge but there's only so much I can do alone... I've been sitting here for a couple days now in a rut without any work getting done so Kaiya was kind enough to intervene and get me to leave my work behind for a moment and celebrate Xylox's yearly festival. 

For those unaware, once a year Xylox town centre hosts a little festival where people can sell and buy goods. There's a lot of small fleamarket stalls there and it's a great place for small business owners to kickstart sales! It's uh, not the biggest event... Xylox itself is still quite a small planet relatively speaking but that doesn't mean it's lacking charm! Everyone in the town gets involved and they all know eachother quite well, it's lovely to see. I was a little hesitant visiting since the whole Planet Protectors thingie... Kaiya and I both know pretty much everyone in the town and their opinions on us have changed quite a lot since we were all huddled together hiding from Velocity in the rubble. 

Uh... Yeah, I was right to be hesitant! The second we arrived we were cheered by most of the town with a couple screaming... They thought we were on duty to fight off another attack. Sigh... Relaxing is so exhausting...

Once the initial buzz of our arrival wore off we headed to the stalls. There wasn't a whole lot there to be completely honest, but what WAS there was incredibly cheap! Xyloxians stick together. Kaiya found a really neat vintage keytar. It looked goofy but stylish at the same time! We only paid two coins for it from a lovely lizard lady; apparently it was gifted to her great grandmother by her great great grandfather! We wanted to pay more for it, but the lady insisted we have it for free as a thanks for our service. It was a challenge to get any kind of money into her scaly hands! The only problem with it is that it's a little worn and torn and isn't producing sounds at the right pitch anymore. It needs a fresh vintage battery which aren't easy to come by. We're going to look into a new power supply for it, clean it up a little and gift it back to the lady. As cool as she thinks it is, Kaiya doesn't feel comfortable owning a family heirloom!

I didn't find a whole lot apart from a few spare nuts and bolts to add to my stash (you never know when you'll need them for a project!) and this little teddy bear plushie. It was brand new and lavendar scented; Roary told me that lavender is a great scent to help you drift off to sleep... Sleep and I aren't very good friends, but I am friends with Sonar and if I keep skipping on my slumber I don't think we will be any longer; at around 4AM every night she will step down to the basement and glare at me intensely. That's my queue to sleep! It's nice having someone looking out for you, even if I feel a thousand jolts seep through my spine every time I see her shadow emerge from the staircase! Oh boy...

After that we thought we'd have a little look in the high street stores whilst we were here; It's been so long since we last had a little browse of them! Sadly the majority of them still had the same stock in all these years later, but a lovely little clothes shop has opened up, replacing an old discount store that replaced an old discount store. I got myself another bobble hat (they're great for tucking your ears into!) and Kaiya bought this lovely handcrafted kimono; it was a little expensive but very high quality, you could tell each fibre was handcrafted with proper care and attention. It gets a little boring up in space and we don't get out all that much... We may not have much money but it's nice to treat yourself sometimes, right? Sometimes you need something fresh to well, freshen up!

We wrapped up our outing by having a little sandwich picnic on the grassy outskirts of the town centre. I suggested sitting down at the start of the town strip but Kaiya wanted to venture further out to the end, close by the forest... We could see Gary's house from here; I've only visited there once or twice but it really is looking worse for wear... I wonder if I can get the Helper Bot to work on roof repairs? We were going to knock and see how he was but Kaiya noticed some big locks over the door. He wasn't at the festival, which is weird... He's usually there every year with his stall? Hm... Gary, if you're reading this I hope you're doing well!!! I assume you have... uh, better deals going on this year.

I noticed Kaiya staring out at the forest as we ate... I'm sure you remember that some horrible stuff happened down there a while ago and I was very hesistant to come here but Kaiya was okay! She told me that she actually felt peaceful as she gazed onwards. She told me that Leon's lab is gone now and that this is always going to be her home. The experience she had was horrid, but it can't take away the wonderful memories that we shared here. Kaiya wasn't confident enough to have a walk in the forest yet, but that certainly hasn't stopped her from feeling right at home again! We love being part of a greater community and helping out where we can, but this will always be our home. My brother's comfortable off planet and Cindy and Scott adore their spaceship but Kaiya and I will always stick strongly to our roots. 

I suggested that we visited more often.

Before we left for our busy work life, I asked Kaiya if she wanted a photograph taken for a keepsake and reminder that no matter where she is in the galaxy, our home will always be waiting for us.

I'm back again for the second installment in my Rapid Recap series. Last time we focused on a horrid Team Velocity lackey named Harvey but this time I thought we'd go in the opposite direction and focus on someone with a small ego and a humble lifestyle. This time we're focusing on Cev.

Cev works as an intern at the Animal Protection Party, a highly respectable detective agency that's hovering just over Friscora. I don't know too much about his past but I have heard on the odd occasion that he was a college dropout who persued a musical career with some friends, forming a band named "Civets on the Roll". Can't say I've ever heard of it. I have excellent friends in the owners Danny and Skye and as such I have met Cev on numerous occasions and can safely say that he's no threat. He's a lot like Harvey, now that I think about it... Both fellows are quite docile at first appearance. Cev's hands are only dirty when he's gardening though. 

I've made various trips here with my squad and we're quite impressed by the little garden outside of the building. Before Cev arrived it was in ruins but it didn't take him long to revitalise it and now it's a safe haven for plants big and small to thrive in peace. Such a thing is sadly a rarity thanks to Velocity pollution...

Cev doesn't just grow plants. He smokes them too; he reeks every time I see him but he's friendly nontheless. He's a very avid ambassador of the sweet green leaf and makes sure everybody knows it. If you've played his dress up game that recently dropped I'm sure you've taken notice of that. He's often asleep on the job too, though I am told this is because he spends a lot of his time scuba diving and partaking in parkour leaving him with no energy left for his job... Not the most efficient, but it's good that he has hobbies and keeps his workplace tidy and welcoming to people in need. Danny and Skye are working on giving him some much needed lessons in technology usage. 

He has an excellent fashion sense too, I must say. I believe this photo was taken on the planet Grombtomkol, known for its rich soil and flora. Rufus and Kaiya joined him on this trip and they purchased some seeds that are native to Grombtomkolians; Kaiya and Rufus are somewhat unpersuaded that the plants will grow but I have full faith in Cev's green fingers. He's very comfortable with the smaller things in life; Skye told me that the beanbag he works in was a placeholder as they waited for another chair to be delivered but he insisted on them cancelling the order. I can't imagine that's good for the posture, though the parkour probably balances it out.

Overall, Cev is a very pleasant man who has creativity and passion deep inside. Just because you may not see it at first glance doesn't mean it's not there. Sure, he may smell of potent leaves but that's not to discredit him. When he's motivated he can do amazing things and I'm sure this passion will serve him well through his internship with the Animal Protection Party. Let's just hope those tech lessons pay off... If so, perhaps I can persuade Audrey to join them too.

It's with great delight that I'm proud to announce that my dress up game is finally live here on the website. There's fifty five new items to unlock, with ten of them being generously added to your inventory automatically. 

You could technically argue that there's two new dress ups as Jack is joining me as... um, a skinsuit? His idea, not mine.

Yes, the sketches were drawn in novelty notebooks that contained printed artwork of copyrighted characters. As there's so many scans to go through this is the best we could do. Capitalism is but a burden.

Dress up updates will be a lot more infrequent however when they do drop they will be entirely new and chock full of content to delve into. We've been looking through our archives and found this weird shirt in storage. 

Any idea what brand this is? It has a Xyloxian trademark. I've asked around and none of our crew know who owns it, let alone what it is. It's barely holding together and seems to be a vintage relic. Perhaps it's a rarity? I've searched online and there's absolutely nothing regarding this brand on here so it must be pre-internet... Surely something that's over a thousand years old would be in tatters by now? 

Anyway, if you know anything about this please do let me know because it's driving me crazy. Or perhaps you want to buy it?

Rufus here with a little site update! A lot has been going on behind the scenes but the biggest update I have to share with you first is this; a new OG dress up game is available to play - this time of Harvey!

Harvey brings 22 new items alongside him. As you know, OG characters are the characters you see on the site, just a little outdated. These are their old appearances! Time sure flies by; most of these OG dress up games were created only a few years ago but we've all changed so much since then. Harvey is our first character to have both a modern and OG dress up game! 

You can tell which one's which by the headshots. So just remember that characters with "OG" in their name are simply older dress up games from a time where we looked a little different. We think it's important to archive this kind of stuff! It's a fun trip down memory lane. That being said though, there's only two more OG dress up games waiting to be added to the website. Once they're added it may be a while before another new dress up game releases...

But when it does, it will be a brand new one just like the regular Harvey and Cev dress up games! As of writing this we have five new dress up games in development. It's our goal to create a dress up game for every character on the website, so rest assured content will continue to drop for a long time yet!

Other than that, Jack and Melissa have been helping me add some polish to the website. We're pleased to report that the following quality of life updates are now LIVE:

1. Dressup page has been altered. There's now more characters per row allowing you to select a character without the need to scroll.
2. Dressup inventory has been altered. Items are now properly tiled and displayed in a grid format. Items that you have on your character will be selected so that you can see them easier. Simply click to remove them!
3. Cards no longer display the "you already have this item" error. Now you no longer need to try multiple times to open a card!
4. Quiz now notifies you when you get a question correct rather than refreshing so as to avoid confusion.
5. Pop ups greatly reduced for a buttery smooth experience!
6. Page navigation has been altered to group things up and make it easier to digest.

We've got a lot more in store. I hope you're looking forward to see what comes next! If we're quiet it's because we're hard at work!

I don't know what's worse; the evil light they're trying to paint me in, or the outdated images they have of me. Fashion moves fast and it's nothing but slander. These poor Protectors... I'll be here to save them.

It's only been a week since we dropped Cev's dress up game but we're not slowing down! Another old dress up game is now available; this being Holly!

Holly has been scrubbed of all Velocity based propoganda and brings 28 new pieces of clothing to collect. 3 of which are secret code exclusive. They're hidden around the site somewhere; can you find them all?

Holly brings a unique category exclusive to her game; markings! You'll be able to unlock various different face markings for the okapi by completing quiz questions and opening cards. Speaking of which...

We've got some plans to change how cards work. No worries, it won't be anything drastic, though we are looking into additional ways to earn cards beyond just answering quiz questions. Please stay tuned for more info.

Hm, what else?

You may have noticed that Skye's headshot has been updated! Jabari is next as we are focusing on updating the homepage headshots first. Expect to see additional headshot updates and quality improvements in the future.

The next chapter of Hard Times has also began production alongside the remaining illustrations for the current chapter. I have to sort all of this content out by myself, so please have some patience! It may take a while for things to update. Our current plan is to finish Hard Times and then return to Red Alert and Experiments to increase their quality for consistency.

There's still three classic dress up games yet to release, so make sure to keep an eye out for those! We'll let you know once they've dropped; we're spacing them out to give people time to breathe!

My name is Skye. I am a member of the Animal Protection Party, an organisation that's dedicated to helping protect and find missing people all over the solar system. We're very close friends to the Planet Protectors and I cannot thank them enough for giving me the platform to raise awareness on what appears to be an otherworldly situation on our hands.

It all started with this image posted on social media a couple of days ago...

As you can see, a relatively small social media account owned by a man named Dukey posted a selfie with what appears to be a portal and a creature from another dimension... Sounds unbelieveable which I assume is the reason it barely got any engagement but I had to see if there was more to this than meets the eye... So I shot the guy a DM and I'll share the transcript with you below:

Skye: Hi there Dukey, thank you for taking the time to respond to me! 

Dukey: np

Skye: So... Can you elaborate and share some context on the events that lead to this selfie being taken?

Dukey: yeah ofc, I was chillin on the mountain at Xylox whilst waiting for my bf and a whole ass portal just emerged infront of the power station

Skye: Whole... ass? So, just the buttocks of this specimen emerged initially?

Dukey: lmfao what? nah, nah, the whole dude just stumbled through it. poor guy looked confused as heck, i stepped back and tripped over but thankfully he was real chill and we both got back up

Skye: Was he hurt in any way?

Dukey: nope, he was perfectly fine. he said he's been hopping around dimensions trying to find a good place to learn how to fly, he's a dragon apparently and his name is droog

Skye: Intriguing... What is considered a myth is reality...

Dukey: wild huh? yeah i said this place is real cliffy man, i wouldnt try flying here and he thanked me and was about to head out but i asked him for a selfie and hes like oh yeah i love those! lets go

Skye: ...I take it he's left then. I sure hope he is okay...

Dukey: yeah he left after that but left me a cool shiny rock

Skye: ...Would you be able to come and meet me in person to examine it? 

Dukey: i dunno about that man, you gonna call the government and get him all locked up? he seemed real chill

Skye: Not at all, we're the Animal PROTECTION Party. We protect everyone, regardless of where they live. 

Dukey: i suppose i could pop in, but you better not tell the fuzz

Skye: I'm close to the Planet Protectors, Dukey. If we established connections it would be nothing but friendly. Is it not best that we communicate on good terms before someone like Velocity gatecrash and kidnap him?

Dukey: aight aight i get u, ill come pop over tmrrw. where u at?

Skye: I'll send you the co-ordinates. Thank you for your time!

So yes... The next day Dukey arrived at our office and handed the rock over for examination. It seemed rather ordinary but thankfully Cindy and Rufus were with us too. One quick Rufus examination later and he found out that the rock was some kind of storage device loaded with pictures of various otherworldly creatures interacting with the dragon. They all seemed incredibly friendly...

Cindy is incredibly weary of Dukey and doesn't believe anything that's been presented but... I don't know. He seems rather genuine to me. There's way too many pictures on this weird rock for them to be faked in my opinion. Rufus thinks they're incredibly realistic too... Thankfully Dukey has allowed Rufus to keep the rock and he is going to continue looking into the mechanics of it in hopes of finding a way to make peaceful contact with this brand new dimension... If it even exists! For Cindy, seeing is believing.

Dukey got something out of this himself though; on the rock there was various photographs of Droog in various different outfits. Rufus was able to cobble together the first in what we're dubbing 'Guest' dress up games; these are for anybody who either isn't affiliated with us or in this case... is from another dimension. Dukey is our second 'Guest' dress up; he caught wind of Rufus' plans and emailed him a two gigabite file of himself in various states of dress and undress. Rufus is a determined worker who doesn't let any amount of nude photography from a stranger he's just met who gave him a rock from another dimension stop him! All those gigabytes were a challenge but he was able to get Dukey's dress up game up and running on the website as we speak.

Well, I hope that gives you just a little bit more clarification on who the two guest dress up people are. We don't know an awful lot about them but we're keeping in touch with Dukey to let him know if we can get in touch with Droog. A complicated system but a necessary one; who knows what lies ahead in that dimension that may or may not exist. Can you believe it's been a week since the official launch of the website! Wild, huh? Time sure flies when you're intoxicated with alcohol! Not that Sonar would know; I see that she's been working hard to get everybody up to speed with how to use the website. That's fortunate as I have some website updates to share! Yup, we took some time to rest but we got straight back into the swing of things. Wanna see what we've been working on? The following updates are now LIVE on the website, so go check them out when you're done reading!

NEW THEMES!

Yup, my lovely boyfriend and his team worked incredibly hard to make these themes as easy as possible to tinker with; easy enough for someone like me to make their own! We've got two new themes; a lovely Valentines theme by yours truly and a piercing red theme that Polly made. She said she was inspired by the sickening blood spill from Lana. How intriguing...

Here's my Valentines theme. Love is in the air and it's in the circuits of this website too! The hearts will flutter down gently to the bottom of the screen, only to return to the top to repeat the process again. Love is everlasting. Valentines Day is my favourite holiday; can you tell?

Here's Polly's theme inspired by the dastardly Lana. I have yet to encounter her (thankfully) but just seeing the sharp colours here sends shivers down my spine...

We'll be making a ton of different themes and they will most likely be on some form of rotation, to change yours just click on the theme tab above and select your favourite! It'll remember what you chose too, so when you log out and come back later you'll keep the same theme. If you have any suggestions for themes, feel free to drop us an email or send it over on the Guestbook!

NEW DRESS UP GAMES!

Already? Yes! Three (old) new dress up games are now available; all using old portraits of Cindy, Rufus and Danny. There's over 60 new items to collect with nine of them being locked behind secret codes (three per character). Cindy and Rufus' codes are yet to be hidden on the website, though I can exclusively reveal the location of Danny's secret codes; right here!

Simply type the answers to the following questions into the Redeem page (all capitals, no spaces) and you'll get yourself three new and exclusive items:

1. What's the name of Danny's younger brother?
2. What species of dog is Danny?
3. What planet did Danny come from?

Enjoy those items! If you don't know the answer, you'll find it in the stories and Danny's character pages. You got this, I believe in you!

Also, another minor update regarding the dress up games; Droog now has the ablity to turn into a dog! Check the special arrow button that's exclusively on his dress up page. 

That reminds me, just who IS Droog? Perhaps we will have the answer to this soon...

It's the fifth and final Site Study. Ready to wrap up on the website tutorial? Good.

Here is the Dressup page, where all of the precious pieces of clothing that you've earnt are stored. Make sure to read the brief intro. You can click the links beneath the intro to return to the Redeem and Quiz pages. We don't need them right now (assuming you've read the previous Site Studies of course) so we can go ahead and choose any character we like. In this instance, I'm choosing Harvey.

Here we are. You'll see your character on the left and your inventory on the right. Each character has their own inventory; anything you've earnt will be displayed here. Every category will be displayed in a dropdown menu; each character has their own set of categories. You may not have any clothing in a category, but not to worry; you'll earn some from the Redeem and Quiz pages with time.

When you first enter a character page they will be predressed in some starting clothing. You can remove clothing by finding it in the inventory and clicking it. Some categories cannot be removed, such as facial expressions. You may only have one piece of clothing on your character per inventory, with the exception of the accessories layer, which has a maximum capacity of three pieces applied at once.

Here's my current accessories inventory for Harvey. I earnt all of these from answering quiz questions and it'll grow as I earn more. Once you're happy, you can simply exit the page and your outfit will be saved until you alter it again in the future. This is the case for every character you dress up; though if you press the star button in the upper left corner of the character screen you'll be able to pin that specific character onto your Profile page. You can only have one on your profile at a time, but rest assured that your outfits are saved allowing you to easily switch out whenever you like.

The other luggage button will display an inventory, allowing you to see exactly what's on the character and there's even little descriptions for each and every item too.

Now it's time to take a look at your profile page. To access this page, click on the welcome button located at the top right corner of the website. Once opened, select My Profile and it'll open up. 

As you can see, your pinned character is here for the community to see. To fill out the other parts of your profile, open up the welcome button again and then select 'account settings'. Simple.

If you wish to explore other user profiles, you can find them over on the Guestbook page. Upon entrance you'll be presented to some rules. Agree with them and you can enter.

Here you can chat in an open space with everybody who has signed up for the website. Whether you just want to have a casual chat or if you want help finding secret codes, the guestbook is a perfect place to sort out any social needs.

Here is the Quizzes page. Here you can help Rufus answer some questions about, well, everything. The answer to every question can be found on the website itself via the previous pages that we've covered through the Site Study, so make sure to... Study the site. Questions will be a mix of input (typing in your response; don't worry about capitalisation.) and multiple choice. Here's an example of the latter.

Please take your time before answering a question as getting it wrong will lose you an opportunity of earning progress towards precious clothing for the dress up game. You have an unlimited amount of time to answer the question presented to you, so feel free to look around for the answer. You get twenty five questions to answer every day. You'll earn a piece of clothing for every five questions answered correctly. 

Once you're done, the page will let you know. You will be able to answer another round of questions 24 hours later. Our next step is to move onto the Cards page. 

Here you can see how many cards you have; these are what you will use to redeem your clothing for the dress up game. As mentioned previously you will get a card for every five questions answered correctly. Simply click on a card you have to peel it back and reveal your reward. There's a huge amount of clothing available and it's entirely random what you'll get and who you'll get it for.

Sometimes you will get clothing you already have. This is nothing to worry about however as you can dismiss the pop up and try again. You can never truly have duplicates and every card will continue to open until you get something you do not have. 

Last thing to mention regarding clothing; you won't be able to unlock all of the clothing via the Quiz and Cards pages. Some of the clothing is blacklisted and thus cannot appear from opening cards. Instead the only way of unlocking them is via secret codes. These are hidden all over the website and you'll be able to spot them from a mile as they are in full capital letters without spaces. Some are hidden on images and some are hidden as plain text. You'll especially spot the image based ones as they have a distinctive glow to them.

Once you've found one, go to the Redeem page and enter it in the box for your reward. If you have yet to find any, let me give you some hints - there's a couple on the Planets page, within concept art on the Characters pages and there's some on our social media channels too. Good luck. If you're struggling perhaps you could ask for help on the Guestbook page which we will be covering on the final Site Study.

I will today be covering the Stories and Comics pages as promised last time. First up is the Comics page.

Here's what you'll see upon opening it. As of right now there is only one comic series in production, so there's only a single button to progress. Once you've read the plot synopsis, click on the 'Read Comic' button to well, read the comic. In the future there may be additional comic series allowing multiple options to choose from but nothing is in development as of now. I am not a fortune teller, so I cannot tell the future.

Here we go. Nice and simple. There's a navigation bar underneath each page to progress through the comic. If you're struggling to read the speech bubbles and want to absorb in the details, right click the image and it'll open in a new tab, allowing you to zoom in as much as you want. Perfect for when Rufus takes up all of the speech bubble with their technical jargon.

The Quest updates rather infrequently but rest assured that is not on ice. The project is very much still active.

Here's the Stories page. It may look a little overwhelming at first glance, but you'll easily come to terms with it. Unlike the Comics page there's multiple stories. Right at the top is a general synopsis on the series (which is also on the main page) and below are synopsises specific to each story. If a story is in progress, a notice will be above it. We just want to make sure you know that you'll be on a cliffhanger for the time being. Story updates are infrequent too but they are the the core of our experiences so rest assured that updates are inevitable. Not only new chapters but new stories too. 

It should be noted that Red Alert and Experiments were written when we were just getting started and as such the writing style is outdated. We will be updating these stories to match the quality of Hard Times as soon as possible. We still suggest reading these stories for context though hope that you understand the quality on display as we work on correcting it.

Here's how it looks when you select a page. Wall to wall of pure text and lore. Excitement and emotion all crammed into one subpage. But how do you move onto the next chapter?

Ah, just like the Comics page, there's a navigation bar at the bottom.

So, there we go then. Nothing to be scared of. With this we're officially half way through our Site Study series. The next part will be focused on three smaller pages; Quiz, Cards and Redeem. These pages will be essential to your progress on the Dress Up page, so it's essential that we discuss them first.

I lent Scott's ear and he gave me all the intel we need in order to start our Site Study on the Planets page. Are you ready to explore the solar system?

As you can see, the Planets page is essentially one huge map of our solar system. Here you can find all of the key locations that we have recorded and learn everything you need to know about them. That includes the titular planet Xylox. To get started, simply tap or mouse on over to the location that catches your eye and it will light up alongside displaying its name. 

Once you've clicked on it, a small screen will pop up that contains a biography of the location and various stats. Unlike the Characters page, the Planets page was handwritten by Scott himself so expect to hear some of his opinions... 

Oh, there's also images of the locations too. If you want to see those, simply click on them and they'll open up in a new tab, allowing you to zoom in and see specific details, which you'll need for when you feel like secret code hunting.

That's pretty much all you need to know about the Planets page. All of the content present on this page was created purely with our new website in mind. This means that adding new locations will be a breeze, which we will certainly be doing.

Rufus passed out from exhaustion last night. All the work and excitement mounted up on him and he's been asleep ever since. Dude deserves it, he did a great job here and as everyone else is sleeping off their hangovers from the launch celebration, I decided to take the reigns and start the new Site Study series on Rufus' behalf. 

Why aren't I hungover? I don't believe in letting your hair down and celebrating. Not whilst the galaxy is still under threat anyway.

Now, to the task at hand. In this series I will be showcasing various pages on the website in more detail. Today, we are going to cover the Characters, Groups and Robots pages. 

First up is Characters. Here you can find each and every character that we've logged on our journeys. This section of the site is perfect for learning about each character as it is formatted in an easy to digest layout. This section of the site is ideal for if you are just learning about the characters; Perhaps you are dressing up a character and you wish to know more about them; no need to fear as the Characters page is here. It's also great for those who are reading the stories; you can get a quick catch up and a visual look at the character so that you can picture the stories in your mindscape.

See how neatly it's laid out? Rufus quite literally took a ruler to it. 

Here's what it looks like if you click on a character. Here you can browse all of their official photographs and read up on their biography above and additional stats on the right. There's also plenty of sketches of each character that were doodled up by various members of the Planet Protectors during the logging process. You can click on each one to have them pop up in a larger size for detailings. Some of these doodles and sketches date back to almost seven years now; we take archival seriously.

The site gets blacked out so that you can focus on the image better. Just click away from the image to return. You may also find some images that are blurred out; these images contain mature content so they are blurred out by default for your consideration; simply click on them to view them like you would with any other image. I would suggest taking a good look around the concept art; Something tells me that there's some secret codes hidden in some of the images that can be redeemed for clothes for the dress up game.

The Characters page, like the rest of the site, was made with an evergreen approach. This means that you can expect to see additional photographs and concept images for existing characters and additional characters logged as we find them. Any time an update is made, we will make sure to notify you here on the News page.

This right here is the Groups page. A lot of the characters that we've logged are affiliated with different groups; here we've logged the most important ones alongside brief descriptions so that you know what they're all about. Now, when you hear 'Planet Protectors' and 'Team Velocity' you'll know who they are, who is involved and what they stand for. There's a few additional groups known about that we haven't got round to logging on this page yet. Stay tuned.

Final page for today is the Robots page. This is Rufus' haven and place for him to log all of the various robots that he's created. Right now it's only a small section of the website but I know he has big plans for it. Helper Bots are essential to not just the way of our lives but those around the solar system too. You can read up on the various types of Helper Bot models here.

There's so much jam packed into this little website of ours! You can catch up on over five years worth of content, all preserved onto this site and what's more; there's a ton of brand new things to see and do too! We'll be making further blog posts throughout the week on each specific section of the site but for now let me give you a quick little lowdown on what you can do:

Read stories! They're detailed logs of our adventures fighting against the evil capitalist space company named Team Velocity. All of the stories are handily in one place on this website! 

Read The Quest comic! Yep, The Quest, an ongoing comic series, has also made its move over to here in a much cleaner format now.

Check out character pages! These are perfect for if you're just getting to know us all. We've logged a ton of people that we've encountered on our adventures right here on this website! You can see how they look including concept art and sketches that we made whilst recording them. You can find out what they're all about and get quick and to the point biographies so that you know who's who when reading the stories and comics!

Find out who does what! We've categorised various types of groups such as us Planet Protectors and our friends over at the Animal Protection Party all into one handy page aptly named groups! There's also a page to log all of the different robots that I've been creating!

Check out the world! We've made a simulation of our solar system, right here on this website! You can visit the planets page to see all of the different locations around us and learn all about them with new logs written by Scott, our co-founder!

Express yourself! You can show your favourite character on your profile and even chat to other members over on the Guestbook page!

Get quizzical! Once you know all about the world, you can test your knowledge on the quiz. Getting answers right will give you clothing to use on our brand new...

If you can't see some of these features, it's because you're not logged in! This website contains adult content so we have ensured said content is locked behind a registry system. That and we need to be able to save your funky dress up outfits! Registering is incredibly easy and free; just take a look here and get started! I can't wait for everyone to experience everything that the website has to offer. We're far from done too; these are just the foundations! There will be more of... Pretty much everything! I just want to start by saying how proud I am of our team to get this little website up and running. I barely have the time to catch up with the sociablity of my own group, given my dedication to being out there on the field... That being said, I am promising to take the time to write some blog posts of my own in a small series I'm calling... Rapid Recaps! This will be my way of getting readers up to date with all the unique people and places around our solar system. I'll be highlighting the heroes of my group and others outside of it and I'll also be raising awareness of all the evil that lurks around us, for your safety of course. Rufus has shown me how this all works, so without further ado, let's get right into it with our first Rapid Recap... Harvey.

No doubt you've heard about Harvey, one of Velocity's lackeys. Jack and Melissa have recently filled you in, though I wasn't too satisfied with this. Our communications with Harvey have been quite minimal; other than him giving Scott and Polly a lift to the Red Light, he hasn't done anything active of which we know about... I knew there's gotta be more to this, so I called up Gary. Gary's a shifty figure in of himself but has ties to not only my team but Velocity too. Sadly he wasn't much help and all he had to say was that Harvey was a good guy; there's NO way this could possibly be possible, I'm afraid. So after a few negotiations and all of my pocket change, Gary gave me a link to a Velocity website ran by an annoymous researcher... Someone else I'll have to dig dirt on, no doubt.

I found the following info on Harvey here: 

So... He's just a docile tank who was hired purely for Sabre's ego?... It's highly unlikely that you readers would come into contact with him, but I would still advise that you keep away if you somehow find yourself in that situation. He's very spiky; Melissa still talks about how firm his hair is to this day. I guess that's what fancy Velocity shampoo does to a guy? I do also want to bring this picutre to your light... Polly found it a few years ago in her archive of newspapers that she often nests in.

Look familliar? No doubt about it; it's Harvey. She found this attached to an article about the rising biking climate on the planet Skylar, about five or so years ago; a lot has changed on that planet since and it's now a bustling hub for racers of all kinds and it seems Harvey was a key figure in the founding of the planet's most popular hobby alongisde his own little biker gang. No idea what happened to any of those guys... If Harvey's bike driving is anything like his cab driving then he's a menace to society who needs to be contained. That's not even taking the Velocity shenanigans into consideration. 

Incase you need any more proof that the guy above is Harvey; Jack took another snoop onto the server and found new shots of the guy, and although the outfit has clearly seen better days, it's certainly the same as the one in the photo. 

Alright, that's all for now; I have to go and assist a colleague on a mission to rescue a pack of ferrets from a pyramid scheme. Harvey was quite a boring case, but I assure you that he's an exception and the rest of Velocity are nefarious beyond belief.

Jack here, finally... It's took us a while to sort this darn thing out thanks to that scummy Spinky ruining our work every time we got something done... Well, it's over now, we've ducktaped a huge ton of securers all over our ship and computers! That'll teach 'em.

So my sis told you guys all about our super clever heist into Velocity's computer system, right? I still can't believe we pulled it off. I'll get right to the chase; it's very warm in here and I can feel my slippery gumdrop nose falling off my handsome complexion as we speak.

I found this crusty screenshot right here just laying on their deskop unencrypted. 

Looks like a... dating sim? With one of Velocity's guards? He looks kinda familliar, but I dunno... I struggle to believe that the head of Velocity, Sabre, wouldn't plaster himself all over a dating sim if they were to make one. Something's odd here; if I had to guess from all the anime boxsets I saw in Spinky's room when infiltrating it a year or so ago then it's probably their doing. Why this 'Hyena' guy though? I dunno. 

I used to spend a looot of time in my early twenties playing a ton of dating sims; anyone remember My Hunky Wolfie Gym Coach? Oh man... Wolfie... How ABSolutely magnificent you were... Anyway. I have a boyfriend now, so I no longer need to spend my time with a fictional sexy wolf jock. If you need to, I don't reccomend you check this sim out when or if it drops; no matter how irresistable that Hyena guy looks, it'll be nothing but Velocity propoganda, so steer clear if you know what's good for you!

So my boss Rufus let you know all about Velocity's antics; apparently ruling over entire planets and holding millions captive wasn't enough and they just had to toy with Rufus' little passion project of building a website. Well, my brother Jack and I aren't standing for it! We fought fire with fire and snooped into Velocity's system. It's a very secure place indeed, but getting in was surprisingly easy... We just put out a stash of phoney gems outside their headquarters and hid a chip in there. Easy as pie! 

I could go for some pie... Anwyay, most of their stuff is encrypted beyond belief, but we were able to dig out a few things here and there... Nothing relating to any future plans of attack they have though. I personally can't imagine them sitting down and planning anything, to be honest! Lemme share one of the things we found though...

Yup, one of Velocity's lackeys, Harvey, seems to have had his photos updated. He's got a fancy pair of boots since we last met! I gave him a hearty blow to the face with my wrecking ball, but that darn hair of his was too sturdy to pack a punch. He seemed harmless, but Gary and Scott have testified his driving skills as lethal. If you see this guy, keep well away, he may look harmless but those spikes sure aren't! If you see him driving, well... It was nice knowing ya'. We'll do all we can to keep him off the road.

Jack is sitting next to me writing out his findings as we speak, though his fingers keep dripping inbetween the keys (the burdens of being made out of ice cream, am I right?). Spinky, if you're reading this... Know that your little bud Harvey is the only thing standing between your safety!

It's been a while, hasn't it? If you've been following our adventures through space over the past couple years you'll know that we haven't had the best luck in detailing our work... This all changes now! We've got ourselves a fancy new website and best of all, it's secure from Velocity's grubby mitts! Spinky won't be bothering us anymore as we've made our website redirect to a live feed of a lovely sunny day outside. Sheer horror for them! 

If you're wondering what you'll find here... Well, everything! You'll be able to read the core stories and follow along with our journey; there will be comics to read and a consise archive where you'll be able to quickly read up on specific characters, groups and locations! We're also looking into figuring out a way to try different outfits out with a dress up game! Roary's idea. 

If you're entirely new to us and are meeting us for the first time, my suggestion would be to start with the stories; they're precise logs on what we've all been going through on our quest to protect the galaxy! Red Alert is officially the first story, though it will be going through a rewrite to improve quality as they were written a long time ago; this is the same case with Experiments, the second story. Hard Times is the latest story and is still in development with a new chapter coming very very soon! Here's a sneak peek at one of the illustrations.

This will be the new home for everything Planet Xylox related from now on. The social media channels will continue to post content however the former homes of content will no longer be updated. I hope you stay tuned to see all of the new and exciting developments we have in store!
